This morning, The Ohio Valley League released a new 2020 Coronavirus Update. The devastating media release bore the news that the OVL will be canceled due to concerns for safety, limitations placed by multiple agencies, and the unpredictable nature of COVID-19. The OVL has ultimately decided to forfeit the entire 2020 season that would have started in late May and early June.
In the media release, the OVL thanked fans, sponsors, players, and staff for past and future support. This is a disappointing blow to players who have already lost their college season due to COVID-19.
