Today, the St. Louis Cardinals announced via Twitter that they have agreed to a one-year contract with veteran infielder and free-agent Brad Miller. Financial terms have not been disclosed at this time.

The 30-year-old Miller is entering his seventh season in the majors. He has played for the Seattle Mariners, Tampa Bay Rays, Milwaukee Brewers, and Philadelphia Phillies from 2013 to 2019. Miller has batted .241 with 88 HRs & 293 RBI in 759 career games.

The team also announced in the same tweet that right-handed pitcher Jordan Hicks has been placed on the 60-day Injured List (right elbow) once more to make room for the addition of Miller to the Cardinals’ 40-man Major League roster.

Miller will be wearing No. 15 with the Cardinals.
